Advanced Full Arch Digital Workflow
Advanced Doctors will learn full digital workflow starting with facial analysis combining facial scanner (Instarisa) with intra oral scanner (Trios 3 shape) and CBCT Dicom files (Owandy Radiology).
Learn how to create a digital prosthetic wax up using digital design (Exocad).
Learn how to create a virtual treatment plan utilizing a free 3D planning software (blue sky plan).
The combination of these 3 steps will result in a surgical and prosthetic plan.
The first surgical guide is the bone reduction guide which is anchored to the bone via anchor pins.
The second guide is used to place implants, this guide is connected to the bone reduction guide via magnets (BDS technique).
A printed PMMA is is connected to the implant guide via magnets ( BDS technique).
By planning the surgery and prosthetics before the surgery and utilizing facial scanners, intraoral scanners and CBCT dicom files, we are able to deliver accurate and beautiful temporaries.
The full arch surgical and prosthetic training was created by Dr. Virgil Mongalo and Dr. Shaban Burgoa with the intend to train advanced clinicians how to elevate their surgical, prosthetic and digital levels.
TEACHING METHODOLOGY
LECTURES / VIDEOS
*3D Head and neck anatomy lecture related to implant surgeries.
*Fixed implant prosthodontics lecture pertaining to FP-3 prosthesis.
*Videos and cass presentations.
*Facial scanner, 2D photography and intraoral scanning.
HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS
*Facial scanning, 2D photography and intraoral scanning sessions on attending doctors.
*Software planning sessions for bone reduction guide, implant placement guide and printed PMMA.
SURGERY AND IMMEDIATE LOADING WORKSHOP ON ANATOMICAL MODELS
*Each participant will receive a head of anatomical model and:
• Place bone reduction guide and reduce bone.
• Place implant guide, drill and place dummy implants.
• Select and place MUA and ti-bases.
• Place printed PMMA and immediately load the implants.
